Potluck Party

SPEECHCRAFT 2011 "Potluck" Celebration was held at Spanish Village poolside on Saturday, 5 November evening. The four fruitful weeks of Speechcraft training had been full of tension and excitement! Everyone was in the mood for "chilling" in a relaxed outdoor setting. Indeed, it was a great time of chit-chat and feasting! Expect to hear more great speeches from our Speechcraft graduates. See you at the next chapter meeting!







SPEECHCRAFT
WORKSHOP 2011

     The SPEECHCRAFT Workshop 2011 was held over four Saturday afternoons in October @ Killiney. The workshop taught the basics of public speaking. Besides learning the ropes from experienced Toastmasters, the participants had ample opportunities to practice speaking to an audience. Everyone gave their best in individual projects. All agreed that the performances of these future Toastmasters were outstanding! This augurs well for future of ACE Toastmasters' Club.

INSTALLATION OF NEW
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

     On Thursday 7 July 2011 evening, the new Executive Committee of ACE Toastmasters Club was installed. Dr Soo Wai Man, Area B2 Govenor, District 80 Division B, officiated at the ceremony. He earlier thanked and discharged the outgoing Ex-co led by Peter Koh. The occasion was graced by the presence of our District 80 Lt Govenor- Education & Training, Patrick Oei.


     The new Exco President, Kelvin Seow spoke of his vision of everyone flying off together on a Boeing 757! Kelvin challenged the new team and all club members to synergistically make this club one that will continue to grow and excel and attain greater heights. He called on his team to`Fill up the seats!' to grow the club in the year ahead.
